Painter, sculptor, illustrator prof. Boris Jirků was born April 10, 1955 in Zlin. From 1970 to 1974 graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Uherske Hradiste in the years 1974-1980 Academy of Fine Arts, in the studio prof.akad.mal. Ernest Paderlik. Until 1990 LŠU teacher. He led for 17 years teaching figurative drawing and painting at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague. Soon, he served as rector. Now leading teaching figurative drawing and painting at the Faculty of Design and Arts Ladislava Sutnara UWB. At the same time the leader and guarantor of doctoral and master's program - traditional media (figure - drawing, graphics, illustration, painting, sculpture) at the Faculty of Fine Arts Academy of Arts in Banska Bystrica. FIGURAMA organizes exhibitions, student artwork fifteen universities from Europe and the USA. He is a free drawing, painting, graphics, illustration, wood and metal sculpture, artistic realizations in architecture. He has participated in several dozen group exhibitions at home and abroad.
