Nick Capaci

NICK CAPACI is co-founder of the fine art atelier, BLUESTONE EDITIONS, in Orange County, California. The atelier was established to create a space for artists to explore various fine art printmaking processes, book arts and alternative photography mediums. Nick has instructed all forms of fine art printmaking, encaustic painting and book arts at Bluestone Editions, in addition to instructing at universities (Calif State University, Long Beach, where he introduced Monotype as a semester art course), art schools and museums throughout the USA. Nick is a pioneer in the instruction of monotype and water based intaglio (etching) and has instructed numerous art venues within the California correctional facilities (serving as Art Facilitator for both the California Institution for Women, Frontera and the California Rehabilitation Center, Norco), California Youth Authority, and the California Department of Mental Health, Arts in Mental Health.
